When you think off-road, a bumpy and uncomfortable experience could come to mind – but not in the new Fortuner. Enjoy and relax in the added level of comfort that compliments any epic journey including stylishly crafted black seats, opulent satin finishes, meter design as well as an Electrochromatic (EC)* rearview mirror, with an auto-dimming function to reduce glare during night-time driving. *Available in selected models. Whatever the purpose – be it touring, towing or trekking, without a doubt, the Fortuner’s incredible performance can get it done. The more powerful 2.8-litre turbodiesel engine now produces a prodigious 150 kW of power between 3 000-3 400 r/min and 500 Nm of torque between 1 600-2 800 r/min. 2.8-litre models are exclusively available with a six-speed automatic paddle-shift transmission. The 2.4-litre engine develops 110 kW of power at 3 400 r/min and 400 Nm of torque between 1 600-2 000 r/min, available in either a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.
